  straight or slightly twisted, usually in clusters of two

Bark
  thin, reddish-brown to grey on young trees
  dark brown furrowed into irregular thick plates with age

General
  small trees, up to 12 m in height high, 30 cm in diameter
  only known Jack Pine in the Province occur in southwestern Labrador, at Red Fir lake and Kapitagas Channel
