issue various permits and
licences, and enforce their conditions and other legislation

monitor resource operations such as hunting, timber harvest,
silviculture and improvement operations, engage in studies, and provide data and
other information on forest, wildlife and related resources

provide public service through inclusive planning processes,
response to emergency fire and wildlife situations, provision of information, and
investigation of various incidents, complaints and matters |
