Responsible For:
|
|
Activities including developing, implementing, monitoring and
evaluating provincial electrical energy policy; facilitating
the establishment of new industrial and commercial users of
electricity and hence new electricity project developments;
monitoring, analyzing and identifying provincial impacts of
industry developments in the Province and other jurisdictions.
|
|
|
Facilitating the Province’s electricity industry’s provision of
reliable service at fair and reasonable rates to Provincial
consumers; and
|
|
|
Facilitating the electricity industry’s contribution to
achieving provincial goals for economic development, including
ensuring that provincial benefits are generated through
development of public controlled electricity resources.
