|
A snowmobiler was "highmarking" in the vicinity of the Tablelands near Trout River when he triggered a large slab avalanche. The slab, as estimated from the crest fracture, was 2-3 m thick. The snowmobiler escaped by running at full speed down-slope away from the avalanche path.
