Examination of this site showed a potential for loose rock to fall from
Durham Hill and to causing property damage or personal injury. The slope
examined lay directly behind the property of Mr. Jack Gill. The top of
the hill is approximately 50m above the houses and has a near vertical
exposure of 6m on the western part and 20m on the east. Frost action was
slowly pushing some large blocks outward.
