Intense rainfall loosened a large rock from a cliff in the
community of Ramea. A 150 ton rock balanced over a home and the
main street in town. During the period June 27-28, 1985, efforts
were undertaken to break the huge rock into small manageable
pieces before it toppled down the hill.
