Rocks fell onto the road between Hampden and the Beaches. A Ford
Thunderbird owned by Winston Carter was damaged when it was driven
around a blind curve and struck a boulder that had fallen from the
hillside. Mr. Carter ran over the boulder which came up through the
bottom of the car on the passenger side. Falling rocks had been a
continuous problem in this area.
