Maintaining a database on mineral statistics including:
value of mineral shipments,
employment,
exploration expenditures, claims staking statistics and other
industry-related statistical data;

|
The Publication of
MINFO.
An industry brochure published 3 times yearly. Minfo includes a mineral
development update, mining update, recent articles related to the mining industry
and upcoming events;
|
|
|
Maintaining up-to-date files on historical and operating mines
and developing properties  (pdf - 7mb)
in the province including
addresses
and contact names for each;
|
|
|
Preparing a
Mineral Industry Update on the status of the industry by operation.
This publication is updated through the year;
|
|
|
Acting as liaison with developers, producers and other industry
personnel to ensure the industry’s needs are effectively serviced;
|
|
|
Analysis relating to the development and evaluation of mineral
policy and for the economic evaluation of specific developments.
