Energy Efficiency and Home Heating

Improving your home’s energy efficiency is a simple process that could reduce your monthly heating bills while keeping your home cozy and warm.

To help Newfoundland and Labrador residents to significantly reduce their home heating costs, the Provincial Government has developed two new programs: the Newfoundland and Labrador EnerGuide for Houses Program and the Residential Energy Efficiency Program (REEP) opens new window for lower income households.

Energy efficiency initiatives were committed to in our September 11, 2007 Energy Plan, Focusing Our Energy, to offer financial assistance to help homeowners complete energy evaluations on their homes and access provincial and federal grants for energy-saving home improvements.
