The Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board (C-NLOPB) is responsible for oil and gas regulatory matters in the Newfoundland and Labrador offshore. The C-NLOPB issues work authorizations and grants interest in offshore areas including licenses for exploration, significant discoveries and production.
