Library Services

The library for the Forest Resources provides timely information services to departmental staff and other users in the forestry, wildlife and land use fields and other areas of natural resources management.

  • A collection of over 15,000 books and reports form the core of the library collection. Areas covered include Newfoundland forestry and forestry in general.
  • Subscription to a large number of Forestry journals, including back issues, ensure a wide, accessible group of journals for reference and daily use.
  • Over 300 forestry related videos are found at the library.
  • A large reference section provides the means to answer a range of forestry related queries.

Interlibrary Loan Service is provided to all departmental staff. This service allows the borrowing of books, multimedia and journal items from other libraries.
