ASIAN MINERALS INVESTMENT ATTRACTION INITIATIVES
 面向亚洲的矿业引资新举措

The Department of Natural Resources develops and delivers a wide array of promotion and investment attraction initiatives that are designed to capture investment in the Newfoundland and Labrador mining sector, from worldwide sources. Many such initiatives target emerging markets, and several are China-focused. The Department partners with Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT), other Canadian Provincial and Territorial governments and mineral industry associations in these initiatives to promote business opportunities in our Province’s minerals sector.

  • Canada Mineral Investment Forum, China (November)
     加拿大投资论坛，中国（十一月）

    The Department of Natural Resources participates with other Canadian jurisdictions and junior companies in the annual Canada Investment Forum, held in Beijing. Hong Kong was added as a venue for 2010 and 2011.
    纽芬兰和拉布拉多省的自然资源部和其它加拿大省以及初级勘探公司参加年度中加矿业投资论坛，该论坛在北京举办。2010年和2011年，该论坛还增设了香港分会场。

    These forums attract a wide array of Asian investors, and provide participating Canadian junior exploration companies the opportunity to present advanced projects during formal technical sessions, and network with potential investors in business-to-business meetings.
    这些论坛吸引了广泛的亚洲投资者，并给了参会的加拿大初级勘探公司在正式的技术论坛上展示成熟项目的机会，也使这些公司能与潜在的投资者在商业会晤中搭建关系网。

    The Department of Natural Resources participates with other Canadian jurisdictions and junior companies in the annual Canada-China Investment Forum, held in Toronto as part of the ongoing Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada International Convention.
