After 49 mm of rain over two days and melting snow streets in Corner Brook, Curling, and Massey Drive became disrupted. On Riverside Drive, washouts occurred and a mudslide covered the road. Washouts occurred on Boone’s Road, Randell’s Road, and Penney’s Lane. A 3 ft deep trench was gouged into Park Lane. In Cox’s Cove, a few homes were flooded and tons of rock and mud slid down the hill, blocking the only exit out of the town. The slide was 1-2 m high and 10 m long. In Curling, Portions of O’Brian’s Avenue, Allen’s Road, and Petries Street were washed out. Mountainview Road in Massey Drive suffered several washouts.
