"Heavy rains on Friday night caused an estimated 10,000 tons of sand and gravel to collapse from the high cliffs in the sand pit at Brake's Cove on Saturday. There were no injuries but equipment and buildings were partially buried. The equipment was owned by Lundrigans Limited."
