Major Projects

Newfoundland and Labrador is the site of numerous world-class industrial projects in the areas of petroleum development, mineral development, and mineral processing. The province is also the site of the proposed Lower Churchill project, the most attractive undeveloped hydroelectric project in North America. This section of our web site provides more information on these projects, as well as other initiatives taking place in our forestry and agrifoods resource sectors.
