Julienne Lake Iron Ore Deposit

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador is undertaking the disposal of the mineral rights for the Julienne Lake iron ore deposit via a public call for proposals. The Julienne Lake deposit is located in western Labrador, roughly 25 km from Wabush/ Labrador City. The property is currently designated an “exempt mineral land”, meaning that the mineral rights are reserved for the Crown.
